Weight Management Program

Excess body fat can be deadly, increasing the risk for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Our Weight Management Program provides personal one-on-one weekly visits including weight loss medications (important support in reducing appetite, promoting satiety, and enhancing fat-burning) and a food diary to keep you on track and help you succeed!

Removing excess body fat goes far beyond a slim physique to the promise of a lengthy, disease-free life.

Nutrition

Today, you can find an immense amount of literature to prove that a diminished calorie intake will significantly delay aging and the many aging related diseases and their metabolic dysfunctions.

To be healthy and maintain normal weight, we need all of the food groups—but not those that come from the laboratory.

Protein - Pure, fresh (when possible) wild fish and other seafood, and free-range chicken and turkey that are hormone and antibiotic free.

Carbohydrates - Fresh fruits and vegetables.

Fats - Salmon, sardines, and other cold-water fish, extra virgin olive oil, nuts, seeds, and avocado.

These "good" fats help absorb nutrients from our vegetables and fruits, keep our cells supple, our skin glowing and wrinkle-free, our brains sharp, and our mood upbeat.

Weight Loss

Our Weight Management Program focuses on various components involved in weight gain and is designed to help:

  • Restore Insulin sensitivity by reducing caloric intake and staying away from foods that raise blood sugar, resulting in elevated insulin levels and the storage of body fat.

  • Achieve a youthful hormone balance - Many hormones can contribute to weight gain and optimal balance is important. High levels of estrogen, less-than-optimal thyroid levels and low levels of testosterone and DHEA can contribute to weight gain.

  • Normalize brain serotonin - Serotonin deficiency has been associated with carbohydrate binging and overeating patterns.

  • Increase physical activity

  • Adopt a long-term healthy eating lifestyle and more!

, and move towards a healthier you!
